Smaller, lighter and even more versatile than its predecessor, the MTS 4 is a high-performance base station, which is distinguished by lower power consumption and lower running costs.
The compact MTS 4 is the new benchmark for high-capacity base stations with high redundancy, while ensuring the lowest possible acquisition and installation costs.

MTS4L TETRA Base Station

The MTS4L TETRA / LTE base station provides flexible access to LTE in addition to a TETRA system. By providing for the integration of an eNodeB into the cabinet of a TETRA base station, Motorola offers TETRA operators an extremely flexible migration solution. The MTS4L can be installed as a simple TETRA base station or include the services needed for eNodeB, such as shared routing and battery backup.

These services can be initially installed or upgraded to meet customer needs. And most importantly, the footprint of the MTS4L remains unchanged when eNodeB is installed. Thus, the update is simple and fast, and the disturbances of the TETRA communication service are minimal.
